Rig 439 Hosted the U.S. Department of Energy in Partnership with Exxon and PSP
Today, Rig 439 in West Texas gave representatives from the Department of Energy a firsthand look at how technology and expertise are shaping modern drilling operations.
Hosted in partnership with ExxonMobil and the Permian Strategic Partnership, the visit showcased H&P’s FlexRobotics® technology in action and highlighted the innovation happening every day in the field. The tour highlighted automated pipe-handling systems operating on the rig floor, real-time data supporting operational decisions and the seamless coordination required to keep everything running safely and efficiently.
FlexRobotics® is working on rigs today, helping advance drilling performance while supporting safer, more efficient operations.
