H&P Hosts the Australian Northern Territory Delegation at Galena Park  

Leaders from Australia’s Northern Territory visited H&P’s Galena Park facility for a firsthand look at the company’s rig refurbishment and commissioning operations. The visit began with a brief introduction and overview of the site’s layout before the group toured the facility to observe the workflow of a rig moving through upgrades and modifications.  

Attendees also visited the rig-up and commissioning yard, where they learned about the final stages of preparing equipment for deployment. The tour concluded with a look at the logistics and warehouse operations that support the process, providing valuable insight into the planning, coordination, and expertise required to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Following their time in Houston, the delegation continued to Odessa for a closer look at H&P’s field operations and drilling activities in the Permian Basin.
