Shane Marchand receives IADC Exemplary Service Award

Shane Marchand, Vice President, Enterprise Accounts, was recently awarded the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) Exemplary Service Award.

“Congratulations to Shane for this well-deserved recognition of service to the IADC,” John Lindsay said. “During his 24-year career at H&P, he has not only exhibited a service attitude in everything he does, but also has a proven track record of teamwork with our customers and our employees. All of us at H&P are proud of his accomplishment.”

Shane began his career at H&P in 1996 as a roughneck on rigs 95 and 100. Since then, he has held multiple positions with H&P, working his way into his current role.

The IADC Exemplary Service Award recognizes individuals’ notable for outstanding contributions to the drilling industry and to the IADC. Recipients have, during their career, repeatedly demonstrated their commitment to improving the drilling industry and advancing its safety, training, or technology.
