Designed for optimal drilling performance, FlexTorque technology reduces the impact of low-order harmonics associated with stick-slip. When higher-order harmonics occur, the system serves as an indicator for necessary corrective actions. To maximize its effectiveness, H&P integrates FlexTorque technology with DrillScan® engineering software, which analyzes a drillstring’s natural frequency and refines setpoint selection, ensuring smoother drilling operations and improved efficiency.
