Job Summary:        Working in a team environment to provide excellent service and quality solutions in the development, enhancement and maintenance of business intelligence systems.

Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
      

• Work closely with business units and team members to thoroughly understand business processes.
• Consult and collaborate with business to translate needs into analytics/reporting requirements. Thoroughly document and maintain business requirements.
• Determine appropriate BI solution to fit the business need and perform design, development, testing, implementation and support for the solution.
• Track the status of assigned projects to ensure timely completion. Maintain communication with project manager and project team regarding progress of work.
• Schedule and oversee user acceptance testing. Answer user questions and generally serve as the primary contact for users throughout the UAT process.
• Schedule and oversee production rollouts. Coordinate with business and project team to ensure successful delivery with minimal business disruption.
• Support and maintain existing BI solutions (reports, cubes, models).
• Coach and educate end users on best practices, standards for querying, and proper use of reports and cubes.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years experience with Microsoft BI Stack including Report Manager/Reporting Services, SSAS and SSIS.
• SQL development and understanding how to optimize queries.
• Experience with the full development cycle of BI solutions from conception and analysis through development and support.
• Experience building queries using multidimensional expression (MDX) syntax.
• Experience with PeformancePoint, ProClarity and SharePoint.
• Demonstrated experience building cubes and reports.
• Experience with data analysis and data modeling; data warehouse experience a plus.
• Strong team working skills, an analytical nature and excellent written and oral communications skills.
• 2+ years experience with .NET application development using VB or C# required.
• Technical degree preferred.
