Job Title: Helpdesk Specialist
Department: IT
Supervisor: Helpdesk Lead
Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for answering the helpdesk phone line and solving simple computer hardware and software problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Technology preferred
- Minimum of 1 year computer experience required
- Basic knowledge of PC and Network hardware with the ability to troubleshoot common PC and network related problems
- Basic knowledge of personal computer applications, including the ability to configure and troubleshoot word processing, database, and spreadsheet software programs
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office Applications
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills; ability to work as a team member. Must be able to communicate effectively with users to solve desktop computer issues over the telephone.
- Some travel required
